Larry Kyle joined the firm as a partner in September 2005. He practices in all the core areas of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on patents, industrial designs, and trademarks.

Larry assists his clients in developing and implementing filing strategies and managing their intellectual property portfolios. He also provides his clients with opinions on intellectual property issues and assists with the enforcement of their intellectual property rights.

Larry regularly drafts and prosecutes patent applications for a wide range of technologies in Canada, the United States, and internationally through the Patent Cooperation Treaty. His patent practice includes patent searching and the preparation of patentability, infringement and validity opinions. He also has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting industrial design and trade-mark applications, both domestic and foreign, as well as representing clients in trade-mark oppositions and section 45 expungement proceedings before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
